World renowned artist Michel Pellus (who is one of 12 artists exhibited at the Louvre in Paris in December 2007 as part of the first American Delegation to ever be invited) painted this portrait of Carol as a mermaid, given by Karen Lynne Gallery in Beverly Hills as a birthday surprise!

Carol was in Washington DC, for
a return engagement at President George
W. Bush's second-term Inaugural Ball.
Carol was the featured performer at
the California Democracy Ball, as she
was at the President's first
inauguration, entertaining Governor
Arnold Schwarzenegger and a brilliant
roster of guests, along with the
President himself.
It was an
honor for me to sing the National Anthem at the
California Democracy Ball, one of nine balls
celebrating the day President George W. Bush was
sworn in! Satirist Ben Stein was the MC. It was also
the 75th birthday of astronaut Buzz Aldrin. This
picture, with his lovely wife, Lois, was taken after
I sang Happy Birthday for him.

This brought tears to my eyes when I
received it from a friend. It's an
interview with The late Frank Sinatra, done
in 1992, and his words about me touch me to
my heart.
Mr. Sinatra was my
hero. He loved and respected the songwriter,
and we loved and respected him in return.
He not only sang our
songs, he felt our music and let the
audience feel it, too.

Happy Birthday, Carol!
Here's Mermaid Carol, in a
portrait by late artist Eddy Medora in honor of
Carol's birthday, November 13.
Portrait is named "Mysterious
Mystical Mermaid" or "M3" to her friends.
Carol has been named The
Ambassador of the Coral Reef, or, more properly,
the CAROL Reef, by

and she sure looks beautiful on this, her ??th
birthday! (we'll NEVER tell!)

Kona, Hawaii
where they did an underwater layout for the underwater

Carol is known worldwide for
her love of the underwater world and these two mermaids have
promised to bring back lots of pictures. A highlight
of the trip will be a deep sea fishing excursion led by
Captain Norm Isaacs, the host of "Bill Fishing Extreme" and
"Big Game Fishing the World with Captain Norm Isaacs" on
ESPN. (Aloha!)

Carol meets her new
friend Ollie - the octopus, of course. They
hit is right off...until Ollie got a bit too amorous
and got onto her face mask. Then CC had to
slow him down, as the relationship was getting a bit
"entangling." Poor Ollie...all hands! |
While they may look like mermaids, it's actually
Barbi and Carol clad in their brand new styles from
Body Glove, exploring a coral reef off Kona, Hawaii.

a note 2 say...
CC has been honored as a Most Exciting Woman in Town
CC was honored July 19th by being given the 1st
annual Wildcat Award in Big Bear, California for her help in
saving the Moonridge Animal
Park.
CC was honored on June 25 at a luncheon at
the Beverly Hills hotel as a "Woman of Action",
which we know she is, by the ICRF - Israel Cancer
Research Foundation.
CC and her best buddy BB (Barbi Benton) shot an underwater layout for Sports Diver
magazine in Body Glove underwater fashion in Kona, HI.
For 14 years, CC has supported Connie Stevens' charity
CES (Community Entry Services) in Jackson Hole, WY ...
by helping to raise $$$$$$$$ 's and also by being part of
the board of directors. Speaking of boards, do not expect to
see CC snow boarding or skiing down the Grand Tetons this
year.... she will be shopping [an interesting sport in
it's own right] and of course performing at the gala and
partying into the weee hours of the night along with Connie
and the gang.
